We're lucky to have Reza back in Sydney for our #swf2014 being a dazzlingly good writer should be enough for us, what more do we ask as readers...but he is one of the most engaging speakers I have enjoyed and I cannot wait to be prodded and encouraged to think harder and better! Being launched in Sydney today at the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park, then we attend a memorial for the Boy Colonel at Palm Beach.

I am a great supporter of a new project on twitter @hellobookcase - they have just started interviews with photos of readers, their treasured books and bookcases. I think it is charming, I have a love of those profiles and seeing how everyone reads then manages their books. The interview up today is with Sydney Writers' Festival director Jemma Birrell.
