This was confusing at times and hard to follow. There were some areas where I didn’t know what was happening and I therefore lost the impact at the end. This was still a cute read though.

We are not off to a good start… am I even reading the same series by the same author?

Unless something drastically changes soon 2024 is looking to be the best reading year for me, 20 books and only a couple have been below 4 stars! 😱 That’s absolutely insane! Is anyone else having a fantastic reading year?

Another great work from Junji Ito! Though I liked this one a lot there just wasn’t much in it that shocked me. I think this was one of his less disturbing books when it comes to the grotesque and shock. Which is totally fine! There just wasn’t anything that stood out or stuck with me like a lot of his mangas can do. But, maybe I’m just getting desensitized to his stuff?

Trying to finish Zodiac Academy before baby gets here and I don’t know if I’m going to make it 😬 what a monster of a book. Also I’m weirdly sad to know I’ll be on a book hiatus for awhile very soon. 🥲

My toxic trait is giving a series that I’m not enjoying as much too many chances to get better. I need to work on DNFing more.

I really don’t want to read anymore, everything is too happy and I know things are about to get real bad. 😩

It’s finally happening, read this in high school and thought it was crap, but now that I have the rest of the series it’s time to try again with my adult brain.

What even is YA these days? There’s just as much adult content in YA over half the time. Let’s just separate Fantasy from High Fantasy and call it good at this point.

Don’t mind me over here playing catch up with my reviews. 😅 This child in my womb has me lacking the motivation to write and also write creatively, so they’ll be disasters. Of course, nothing new there either. 😂
