At this point I just want to be done with this book...

Oh I love Anne! I'm so glad I've finally picked up the series again. So far, these brief glimpses into her life as a teacher are delectable morsels of warmth and humor and truth. I just read the bit about Nora and while the end of that segment was a little too predictably sweet, the (literally) painful journey there was entertaining.

"She was only a farmer’s daughter, but she was beautiful, and also smart, as the daughters of farmers need to be, for farms are complicated businesses." As a farmer's daughter, I approve of this line!

I put this on hold and it came in right before camp... so naturally I haven't had the time needed to read it before I must return it. I love this section! Especially the scene when Lucy, Elinor, and Edward are all in the same room... I am totally an Elinor... So heroic indeed : )
