So it begins!!

I'm really digging this, but man this series would be about 1000% better without the constant longing romance scenes.

I get the hype, it's really good. I also now have an appreciation for the level of eye roll that women get when experiencing how men write women by experiencing how women write men. The story is good enough to mostly ignore it though :D

Alright let’s see what the hype is about

I finished it two days ago but it's been sitting with me. Probably the most action packed and anxiety inducing book of the series so far. Pierce didn't even leave any room to breathe in here. Now the wait begins for Red God.

Only 1/3rd of the way through and the action already feels like I’m approaching the climax of the book. Soooo intense. 😬

Not my normal type of story by any stretch, but really loving the writing style and can't stop thinking about the story. I'll have to check out some of his other books.

Here we go again. Time to refresh the brain in advance of Lightbringer.

About halfway through. At this point I t’s basically bird box in space, but it’s done well so I ain’t even mad about it 🤷🏼‍♂️

Anyone else feel like they're being judged for putting their weebish manga and light novels in here. Just me?

Might come back to it at some point but just not feeling it.

I’m only about 20% in but the way that the story involves a lot of examination of mental health and mental illness in the context of a fantasy world is actually super interesting. So far the book itself is a great addition to the series if you’re already a fan.
