I’m about 5 hours in. Basically all that has happened is the main character has had sex. And fallen in love with someone after just one time together. Apparently it does pick up, but I don’t know if I can keep listening, I’m very bored & find that the main character completely falling in love with someone after just one time together very unbelievable. Maybe I’ll come back to the story, probably not though.

I’m several hours into the book, and I still don’t know what the goal of any of the characters are. I’m just confused on what the purpose is.

And can we please get a book with normal names in it? It’s so hard to know which storyline you’re following because all of the names are weird and are very similar to each other.

I’m only in chapter 4 but is anyone else completely confused and weirded out by the Pug storyline? I really hope this gets better because right now it’s just weird.

I’m a little under halfway through so far. It’s a very interesting world but I haven’t liked this one as much as I liked the first book. The story is told from way too many characters perspective and so because of that nothing has really happened in the story. And it’s implausible that 2 people who just entered this world are ridiculously more powerful than people who are born in the world. 🤷‍♀️

The main character Jason is a prick. Aren’t main characters supposed to evolve and get better as the story moves along? I enjoy the world in this book and that’s why I’m staying with it, but seriously the guy is a prick. He expects everyone to be perfectly moral while refusing to change himself. And he complains about people who grew up rich even though he is also someone who grew up rich. 🤦‍♀️
