I regret picking up this book. Not fond of the writing style which is very tell-not-show. I don’t think it's doing a great job expressing just how dire Nora's situation is with depression, anxiety, and suicidality. "White Rabbit, Red Wolf" tells it better.

I’ll be honest, I’m not having a good time. I love the characters so far but the story is told through purple prose which I’m not a big fan of. Having to whip out my dictionary almost every other page is very distracting and frustrating (but I guess that’s more of a me-problem).
