Pretty goood chapter. Really opened my eyes to the false narrative of treating modern biometrics as fact and objective rather than based on probability. And also how visual based surveillance technology is based on historical racializing pseudo-sciences.

Really good. 1st chapter just blew me out of the water tho with the comparative study between the panapticon and slave ship. This one was good and deep too. Visual surplus, lantern laws, the passport history. Loved it. Idk if I could muster the 3rd chapter tho…. Too dystopian maybe
