Wow. All i can say is that he's a genius and he does one good thing. He makes me want to be my own genius.

Somehow, Pynchon managed to make a novel that doesn't feel like it reflects the times in which the book is in, but it has all the Pynchon flavor that makes his books so accessible yet distant at the same time. It's an interesting method that he does, and it's addictive.

Already, I am enjoying this with slight degree that I wouldn't, but you have to just pick up Pynchon's books and just read them. You have to see through yourself and just jump into the book.

Already I feel like this book is so accesible that it seems boring enough to go through. The sentences are still John Irving's strong suit. Of course, but it feels like I wish John Irving would abandon characterization for sentences. He could be so much more. It's like John Updike. He had horrible characterization, but great sentences. Oh well.

It's like butter for your eyes.

AMAZING! I can't believe that Pynchon did a William Gibson with this book.
