This book is mind-boggling so far. It's incredibly clear and incredibly clarifying of many details and narratives in the OT and NT, such that I couldn't have realized how confused the interpretations I've received were until they were deconstructed before my eyes.

250 pages of "the problem" and we're just now getting to the authors' proposed solution. I'm maybe 20-odd pages into the solution and while I'm trying to read carefully and critically, their solution is not altogether unconvincing yet. It is a huge paradigmatic shift from what I'm used to, and yet it also just might fit the rest of my understanding of the gospel paradigm more coherently.

Funny, every time N T Wright is quoted in this book I can't help but hear it in my head as his voice

Lots of detailed and nuanced explanations so far, so I'm having to read this quite slowly. I wish the author would anticipate common questions or concerns (this is supposed to be a guide for the perplexed, right?) and address them in the chapters.
