I was expecting some hardcore bullying, suspense, and angst, so far this book has been rather tame. A little too tame 🤔 makes me wonder if it’s the calm before the storm. If not then this book is just plain old boring 😶😶

Can authors cut back a little on having characters go on and on about chess metaphors/analogies to prove how hyper intellectual they are, it is starting to get a little pretentious🙄🙄🙄
