The worst part about a character that is (self-) proclaimed as smart is when she can’t put two and two together. You are the only one that can still communicate with your one-of-a-kind dragon in a no-magic land where you went to look for said dragon’s relatives. Hmmm maybe they are there? Also like rebecca what are these phrases that ate supposed to be hints. Make them more subtle or clearer.
