this is a thoughtful well written book. i was invested in the characters and their development. mr.Lamb decided to write the story from the perspective of the family members which seems to work, it's just i wish i got the feeling that the character insights were more about the moving of the plot then showing us he's sensitive enough to understand all their motivations.
