I have some concerns.

Don’t know if I should, it’ll probably be blown into a million pieces, but here we are.

184 pages in, and the story is finally beginning. Goodness, the skill required to weave that much setup and still make it interesting is enviable…

So it begins!

Celebrating Hobbit Day by kicking off my annual re-read of the Middle-Earth saga.

It’s done.

I can hardly believe it, but I just typed the final line of the first draft of A Golden Darkness. I had the wild idea to get it done this week; and God gave me the strength to do it.

This was a rough one, y’all. It fought me almost all the way. But the ending… it was worth it.

It’s a mess of a draft. But it’s done. And that’s enough.

I am SO hooked on this book.

We're almost through Act 2! By God's grace, the first draft is zooming by. I can definitely see weak areas, but I also have ideas of how to fix them, so overall, I'm happy with where this draft is.

Approximately 27,000 words to go!

And wow, this story is... different from the others, to say the least. I'm so excited to see it finally coming together!

Book 3 of The Feyfolk Trilogy is officially underway! I hit the 12% mark today, which means the first hints of the main plot are just beginning to stir.

Can someone please explain to me how George Lucas can write a book that differs in several key ways from a screenplay written by George Lucas?
