Miraculously I care about Thomas and teresa even LESS than I did in book 1. I’m impressed!

The characters have fallen so flat and been neglected so Thomas can galavant around with two different girls and angst over it rather than focus on the problems of living in a post apocalyptic world. The mystery of the maze is gone and so is most of the appeal of the characters, and the writing and dialogue has gotten worse. The girls exist for nothing other than being love interests it feels and I’m annoyed

Now I think Neil Gaiman may have some freaky kinks but I don’t have much proof. Except this entire book.

….Sabaa Tahir. I had my doubts. I did. You made me doubt you for a hot second. It took me like 300 pages to really care for all of these characters and their development. But you did it. I’m scared for these last fifty pages. Congratulations. I’m ruined forever.
