Haven't read any YA book in a long while, time to fulfil my YA quota for the year! 😛

Seems like this series is a hit or miss for most people.
Hopefully it'll be a hit for me after I'm done :)

"How did he experience attraction? Was it the same way straight men did? When did he know he was gay? How did he figure out how gay sex worked? Was it instinctual?"

Can't believe a university professor is asking such questions.. How did he figure out straight sex??

“I’m still regretting not buying that vagina needlepoint.”
I laughed. “Now more than ever, that confuses me.”
“Not all gay men are afraid of vaginas,” he protested. “We just don’t want to touch one.”

I'm beginning to doubt his sexuality now

Hopefully this is as good as I hoped

So my idea of taking a break from the mentally disturbing Flesh Cartel series is to read a book titled Slave Boy?
Well, a good friend assured me that this book isn't dark at all, so thank goodness for that because I don't have many other choices available to me right now, LOL.

Hopefully this book brightens up my day a little after the previous depressing read :)

Not sure why this book has such a morbid-sounding title, but guess I'm about to find out.

For someone who managed to get through his CIA training in the top three hiding out in a swamp while eating worms to survive, it's hard to imagine that he's this scared of snakes...

Austin, an MIT graduate, can't figure out a basketball game on XBox? 😐

"For goodness’ sake, he was nearly twenty. Then he got to thinking about it some more. Does Mike see me as vulnerable? Innocent?"

You kinda are..

Normally I would read all the books in a series back to back. But I needed a break from Ella Frank's books else I might combust from how hot her books were. What better time to read a YA book?

"She was going to become a professional cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys! But she can’t now because Tyson has dragged her down with him!"

Oh Bear, I highly doubt someone from Yale or Harvard would be as aspiring professional cheerleader.😐

After all this time, I'm finally starting my first T.J. Klune novel. Hope it doesn't disappoint!

You ARE the stupidest person there! God, I can't remember the last time I was this exasperated at a character..

Right, Travis. Because you are so much better at names, LOL!

Wait, what?! A star tattoo is a symbol for gay men?? That's new to me..

What kind of Spartans are they when they seem to have a non-existent awareness of people approaching? And this is the second time!

I'm kinda worried what would have happen if he had a hard-on..

Nikolas overlooked the swearing because, confusingly, he was hungry too.'

Now I'm hungry too. 😐

'Squeezy added, “It’s a wicker basket. We’re on a top-secret op, a mission for the boss, and you bring a…picnic? Why not just fucking offer us ginger beer and slabs of fruit—oh, hey, warm brownies…gimme.”'

He's really like a dog in a human body, LOL.

"He was tempted to point all this out to anyone who would listen, but Ben had turned Radio 1 on, and Squeezy was singing along in a falsetto voice to raucous screeching about letting Jesus take the wheel of the car."

Would have loved to see this scene. 😁
