Cannot believe this holier than thou attitude from Cope.

The entire bunch happen to be super gossipy and expect Jude to be emotional, fall in love and be super open to any stranger that drops into his life? And Cope, he doesn't know Jude from a stranger and came chasing him because a spirit said so and expect him to be devoted and totally into him- seriously what world do these people live in?

Jesse Clayton and Lorenzo Maryboy meet when Lorenzo has to get into a fight to save Jesse. Lorenzo Maryboy is a former Marine/cartoonist, while Jesse is an artist. Everything is from Maryboy's point of view. I thought he falls too easily in love with Jesse. The thought process to come up with a cartoon strip or a painting is so beautifully expressed. Sarah Black does have a wonderful way with words.

Is it ok not to process the crime scene properly? The town sheriff, the dad does not process the crime scene properly and the special agent son accepts it.
The private investigator gets potential evidence from a 13 year old and wants the special agent to work on the crime based on what is there in the evidence. Would that be acceptable in the court?
Also do not like both the MCs as of now.

I can imagine what is going to happen next. Parker’s stupidity is sure going get Adam in big trouble.

There is very little romance so far and you know- that doesn't bother me at all.

It is Roku who moves the story. The supporting cast and the stories of each character makes this book riveting.

Didn't realize that there was a prequel to this. The sex is hot.

Each chapter has alternating POVs and the author summarizes what happened in the previous chapter with all reactions - which is really annoying.

Too many nicknames- cannot be bothered to remember those names and people they are associated with

A book that sounds great from the blurb, I am 6 chapters in and the nick names and over analyzing is getting on a nerves.

How can a grown up man 'bounce' in excitement. I have come across that description in several books and have always wondered.

This is an unusual zombie book. Edward is a necromancer and he finds a body that he turns into a zombie. He names the Zombie Kit.

So far I am enjoying the book.

So Alexx was ready to accept his love for Raoul without thinking about it, his ability to say/do things that Jamie used to say/do, but doesn't like to hear that Raoul has not forgotten Jamie or still has his things intact.

What a made-up angst situation.

At this point I just want to skim through the rest of the pages to the end.
But I will persevere and finish the book
