The goal for the 2026 reading challenge is to not put anything in my finished pile until the book has been read. This will give my reading list accuracy it has been lacking in the past.

Here is to zero DNF's in this years list.

2025 has been a difficult year for me in general and has affected my reading. My yearly challeng will fall short of its annual goal. Hopefully, these 5 books that I have picked up from the library will get me through the next several weeks. And maybe 2026 will be a better year.

Due to challenges that I am going through this year, my reading levels are not where they would normally be. And I'm finding it difficult to read anything. Its unlikely that I will meet my yearly book challenge. There is always next year.

I took a break due to circumstances beyound my control. I'm unlikely to reach my normal 100 books read this year. Life goes on and I'm learning to roll with the ups and down it will bring. Starting with a fresh slate and doing things my way for a change.

I'm not in a good spot and have shelved all my books until further notice. Quite a bit of upheavel going on at this point in time. Hopefully will be back to my regular scheduled self in January.

Not reading as quickly as I usually do. Quite a bit of stuff going on at home and work.

Halfway through the yearly book challenge. Due to a lack of available funds I have been only getting books from the library. Which has worked out so far. Eventually I will have to buy those that are not available from the library. Hopefully that won't be until later in the year.

This year I only post the books that I read. If they don't get read they aren't added to the list. I'm ahead on my reading list. Which is an improvement over last year, since I struggled to meet my yearly challenge goal.

For those following my reviews, sometimes I am too tired to really give you a good impression of the books that I read. This year and every year after you will only see books that I have read. DNF's will not appear on my read list.

Normally I don't add all my to be read books to my list. Usually wait til I'm finished to ensure that I read the entire book. This set is being added because I will read them all,

Christmas season at work is called "Peak", its the yearly frenzy that ends around 12/24. I'm finding it difficult to keep up with my book challenge along with updating my finished reads.

30 books to go in my yearly reading challenge. Doesn't matter if I reach 100 or not. Its the same goal every year.

Not sure if I'm going to read this or not. The first few pages are not grabbing my attention.

Not going to make my goal this year, 2022 was a tough year to work through. 2023 looms on the horizon and the 100 book goal will be back in place.

27 books short of goal, and I'm okay with it. 2022 has not been the best year.

Due to a schedule change and not being able to find employees that will stay has curtailed my use of the local library. I may not meet my reading goal this year.

After almost 5 years of working night shift. There was an employee issue and I have returned once again to day shift. The new routine doesn't leave a lot of time to read.

The library I frequent most is closing mid June. I'm on the hunt for a temporary library until mine opens back up in August. Covid-19 is going to make this difficult. Not all the libraries have re-opened.

This just came on after being placed on hold. There are 3 copies, they are all out. That includes the one I have. So it becomes push everything else back and read this first.

Of course I'm starting at book 30.

I think I need to get cranking on the reads. I have 7 books from the library in my hands.

It sits on my e reader. All the screen time is bothering my eyes. Will get to it eventually.
