Wait a minute! Didn't Maura have a baby in a previous book? Surely, I didn't imagine that.

I've just received this book and skimmed through. I already see it is fairly brilliant. Looking forward to looking at it slowly and in depth.

Goodreads should evaluate the criteria they are using in making recommendations. Some of the books they're giving me based on previously read or shelved books are so far from making sense that it is ridiculous. For example, because I had read Anne Perry's latest, they're giving me a children's/young adult book? I don't think so. I can't grasp the reasoning behind the majority of their recommendations.

I don't like it.

I read this book several years ago and loved it. I am reading it again as a group read to refresh my memory, which isn't what it used to be.

I'm reading the second book in the series, Rise of the Evening Star. Just started.

This was an easy read. Always enjoy these light mysteries. The recipes are good and practical to make too.

This book became more engrossing just past the half-way point. The whole thing was still too unbelievable for me. I didn't care much for the characters either except Brian and things did not go well for him.

Enjoying this one.

Got to have something light and fun to balance the struggle with that other book.

At chapter sixteen I'm still pushing myself to read this. Tried the audio. That was worse. This is my book group selection for the next meeting so I will finish.

Having a bit of trouble getting into this book after Chapter 4.
