On one hand, I'm hooked to the story while on the other hand, it's been so difficult for me to keep up with historical fiction. Time for attempt #3 to finish the book today

Is it too early to say I like the book already? I think I'm going to take my sweet time to read this though, because something tells me I'd regret rushing this one.

I'm done with Part Three of this book. Although I know almost everyone absolutely loves this book, I don't think I feel the same about it. The only thing that has caught my attention since the beginning is Alicia's diary entries. The rest of the narration just doesn't hold my interest for too long. But yes, I'm definitely curious to find out what actually happened that led to Alicia's unending silence.

So I have two theories, about how the story is going to end. One is of a happy ending, and other will shatter my heart. I really hope I'll atleast be able to get the ending right 🙈🙈

I LOVED A Curse So Dark and Lonely. But I'm sooooooo close to DNFing this one. I'd expected it be a bit more about Rhen and Harper, and them ruling Emberfall.. But I didn't expect the story to focus on Grey to such extent that Rhen and Harper are hardly mentioned. I like Grey, but I am just not that interested in reading an entire book about him. 🤷‍♀️

I totally understand the hype now. This book is totally worth it. Although I'm just half way through, I know I'm going to love it!! ❤️

Although I'm not exactly loving the story so far, but it's good enough. I'm not bored, but not excited to read further either. I can totally predict what's left to happen in the next few chapters, because unlike what I thought, this is actually more of a love story. Let me correct myself : this book has multiple love stories (more like love chains 😂)
