Latoya is on page 87 of 410 of The Obelisk Gate (The Broken Earth, #2)
I am enjoying The Obelisk Gate more than The Fifth Season quite possibly because I know more about the world and the people. I appreciate hearing from Schaffa and Nassun. I like the fresh perspectoves they bring to the story.

Latoya is 26% done with Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1)
I am not interested in the story so far. There are many details to follow. There is a lot of sexual suggestions in the novel that the author seems to be going there but making it drop just short. I am not impressed by that,

Latoya is on page 144 of 545 of Babel, or The Necessity of Violence: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators' Revolution
I like how the friend group looks more cohesive even though each student has quirks. I like Victoire and Ramy. Is that supposed to be because a bias was already created in my head because of the material I am given?
I am happy that Robin is settling with his friends and that he considers them his family. Let's see what is going to happen next.

Excellent, stimulating read so far!

Latoya is on page 82 of 444 of Golden Son (Red Rising, #2)
This book is CRAZY! I don't like that Darrow is so broken that he becomes vengeful. He decides to let his pain control and lead him into genocide. Yikes. The plot is thickening though. I really want to see what happens next. I just cannot guess at this plot at all!

Latoya is 70% done with The Widow's Husband's Secret Lie
I think this book would be more easily appreciated by fans of Freida McFadden's books. I have only read Th Teacher. I really enjoyed it.

Latoya is on page 153 of 336 of In My Dreams I Hold a Knife
I like the secrets so far. I don't expect any of them at all. I am still trying to figure out the killer. So far, all the friends seem to be unlikeable in some way. Let's see.
