Looking back at what my chronic illness has taken from me is so depressing and hearing other people with chronic illness say their life has been so good despite their condition makes me feel like shit even though I probably should feel the opposite

This is so fucked: I remember this happened to me when I was 17, and we had to call an ambulance, and when I got there they were like “oh yeah it’s probably just a cyst that burst inside” EXCUSE MEEEE? MORE INFORMATION PLEASE IM FUCKING SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD!
And then they told me to just take paracetamol 🙄 Had to wait a year for a follow up appointment
