Due back at the library. Finish another time.

Not finishing right now. Well written but I’m too close to some of this. Had nightmares. Another time.

I’m reading this as it’s been raved about so much. It’s something I did in my past so not news thus far. However, interesting that someone wrote about an area of my own life that I never considered writing about. It was a means to an end sort of thing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Going to finish it another time. Mother/daughter drama not the right book for me now.

DNF. Just couldn’t get into this. So many raved but just wasn’t for me. Maybe another time.

Very interesting. Due back at the library though so will check out again to finish. I have to get back in the queue though as there is one.

Btw, this was a book club book or I would not have picked it up. Just in case you’re tempted to remind me the description said it was about a mom/son difficult relationship. Yup. But I figured I’d give it a go.

DNF. In no space to read this book. Maybe it gets better but it’s a memoir with a son who had a rocky relationship with mom, doesn’t talk with her for a bit for his sanity, then finds her dead. With great details of a body left too long. Traumatic for sure but I have mom issues enough of my own without going for a ride into his.

Currently rereading this book with a small group of women and discussing. Lots of patriarchal sexist language due to when it was written. Not keeping us from complaining about it though! 😆

So far it has a long ways to go to warrant book of the year.

Doing an audio book. Not my usual thing but I saw her speak online and wanted more.

For some reason there is not an option to choose this as a print book. I’ve had this book for a year-since I met Paul Doiron. I prefer to read in order but the pandemic has me reading what I have.

I usually read book series in order. However, with the library closed now for 3 months and this one showing up on my doorstep, I’m going to give it a go.

I’m not much of a romance reader, but we have this for my book club so I will give it a go.

I’m going to read this as it was highly recommended to me by someone despite the terrible reviews.

A good suspenseful novel that had me guessing till the end. Stayed up much too late reading it as it is gripping.

Heard Paul Doiron speak at a local bookstore and decided I wanted to check out his writing.

Slow going but important. Time to pass it along to my next person in book club so will finish it down the road.
