When I get stressed enough reading a book I'll often cave and look for spoilers (it's a bad habit I know). It doesn't help that I've been reading this in fits and spurts so my secondhand embarrassment has extra time to fester. I made it to 66% before checking for spoilers.

I like the general shape of where the story is going, but I was hoping for a reveal that the summaries I read haven't mentioned.

This is a "Only a hundred pages left?" kind of book. There had better be a sequel, I am not ready to leave this era of the Avatarverse behind.

This is another of those "No no no if I just stop reading the thing that is coming will not happen" type books. It's beautiful but. I. don't. want. it. to. be.

I am confused and intrigued.

God this book is stressing me out, and not in a positive horror way. I think dark academia is not for me....may DNF. I'll decide tomorrow.

The memoir just took a turn into self help. I may DNF, I don't want to be helped at the moment, thank you.
