DNF. for my tastes, the romance feels heavy handed, unearned, and the constant reminders more distracting than enticing, to the point that i found myself closing the book every-time a frustratingly jarring romance moment occurred. which is a shame because i enjoyed the prose, worldbuilding, and characters, especially arty!
