Every time I read that one of the MCs has a cigarette and then they kiss 🤢 I feel....queasy. Anyone remember kissing a smoker when you’re not? What. Just me?!
I wish my brain wouldn’t get stuck on these things like a needle in a record player so that I could fully enjoy this tortured, A N G S T tale

I am so so bored with this. I hate not finishing books but I’m not sure I can make myself read more of this.

😱falling asleep whilst reading very vivid accounts of being buried in snow gives you really vivid nightmares. This was my lesson for today. For someone with a fear of small spaces, I sure pick weird books...

It’s fun. But.... Please stop saying ‘darling’ at the end of every line of dialogue. Just stop. Darling is what you call someone when you a) don’t remember their name or b) when you want to let them know that they are in TROUBLE. And if b) isn’t true, then someone please let my wife know....

Sobering. Illuminating. Infuriating. And I haven’t even reached the deadly parts yet.

I can’t tell if things have actually gone a bit... weird... or if it’s this fever I’m battling. It’s also surprisingly difficult to read with one eye twitching non-stop. Please tune your mini-violins for a sympathy tune.

Off to a cracking good start! I just wish work wouldn’t get in the way of reading...
