Still reading this one in between other books. It's a bunch of short stories. Most have been enjoyable.

This just arrived in the mail today. I won an ARC! Will be diving into it tonight - it sounds juicy!

Good so far though I'm less than a third of the way in.

Not very far into it but it already has some creepy (awesome!) imagery. Looking good.

Just received this ARC in the mail yesterday. Looks like a good one... probably start it within the next day or so.

Why does it keep saying I've read these? I am currently reading this series but the reading challenge now says I've read them twice. I did get a new kindle and I think it is linked to Goodreads. It seems to say I've read the books when I come out of the book to do something else on my kindle. By the time I have actually finished the books, it'll probably say I've read them 10 times. Ha! Ha!

This one is really not holding my interest, therefore I am not continuing with it. I will not rate it either - if that is possible since that would not be fair to the author. What I did read was well-written. It's just not for me.

I've read this one several times but it has been probably 10 years since the last time. Just started it and it's as good as I remember - one of my favorite books!

Not something I would normally read but I received it in a contest and it's a hardback - gotta read it now! :) Seems nice so far and the writer's descriptions are rich.

Just started this one and am enjoying it so far. Loved "One Thousand White Women" so looking forward to this one.

I didn't actually finish this series of stories so I feel I should not give a rating. I hate it when people say they haven't finished it and yet rate it - doesn't seem fair to me. I will say that I lost interest in the story and was annoyed by some of the mistakes needing editing.

I actually have more of this series of short stories on my kindle but there isn't an option for choosing that. Pretty good so far - I think I'm on #13. Not really into the characters so much but the story-line is interesting.

Still plugging along. I've found that even though I'm not feeling much for the characters (some are really annoying) I still want to see what will happen in the end. Needs editing!

Received this book free from a contest. Just barely started, but it looks to be a good one.

Creepy story. Have to whine about one thing: the character is too grateful. The phrase "for that I am grateful" has been used several times already. Silly to let a small thing like that anooy me - but it does. I'll keep reading though. I'm not perfect - I realized I used the same phrase in one of my short stories. The madness! LOL

Hmmm, apparently I've already rated this one - must have read in the past and forgotten. I just started it and it doesn't seem familiar. Found it in my stash of supposedly unread books. I love a Harry Bosch so I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Started this a few days ago but haven't had much time to really get into it yet. Love books with the creepy side of nature. I think I'll enjoy it even though sometimes I feel like the wording is odd. Can't really explain that - it certainly isn't bad - just seems a bit odd to me. It's more of "I would have said that differently" type of thing. Everyone has his/her own style.

Picked this up at the library. Not my usual read - it's a combination of graphic novel and regular written novel. I don't typically read graphic novels. Not too far in yet but it's fun. It's good to get out of your comfort zone once in a while.

Yep, just as good the second time around. This is one I would read again in a few years - just like I re-read "The Stand" every so often.

Yeah, I've already read this one and reviewed it. I'm reading it again because I received the second book in the trilogy as a gift and want to re-familiarize myself with the characters and story-line.

Just barely started this one - only the first chapter! I should know better than to start a book when I don't have a lot of time to devote to it right then. I plan to really sink my teeth into it this evening. Sounds like it's going to be a good one.

This one started out with a bang - loved the first short story! Classic King in all his weirdness!

I will start this one tonight. It's a free ebook I am testing. Sounds interesting.
