Hear me out, I’ll be finishing this book tonight before I go to bed.

What I have logged in to state is that before reaching 70% this story was at a solid 3.5.

I feel it’s more of a fan fiction of the ACOTR/ATOG world.

Different characters and very similar world… but then once I reached exactly 74% it added another element that struck me as Game of Thrones vibes.

That knocked it up to a good 4 star.

… I don’t know how to properly articulate my thoughts… it’s a good start, but I feel a little rushed… I just expected more build up before the love interests meet and more ‘meat’ to the first layers of the world building.

I’ll continue reading since I always love a feisty trauma resilient heroine.

I'm really loving her tone of voice as a witty and down-to-earth tutor... even if this only turns out as a fun exercise, at least I can say I tried my best to meet my bucket list item.

... I feel like I'm going to have such a horrible book hang-over after I'm finished reading this book...
