Mr Lockwood is so me I will swear off social interactions then sit down and beg for gossip (which is the start for the entirety of the book).

We commence the start of Heathcliff's villain origin story.

*visible confusion but underlying enjoyment*

Chapter 3
Catherine Earnshaw was a book annotator girlie. Mr. Lockwood's sleepover gone wrong, unfortunately, so wrong he didn't enjoy the coffee he was made when he got back home.

My reading is SO rusty, but I am a free woman and I will read once more.

Chapter 2
Mr Lockwood went through a storm to visit Wuthering Heights only to get even more ridiculed. Mrs Heathcliff threatening the servant with her reading of black magic was funnier than it should have been.

Chapter I
The fun thing about reading a classic is I get to read words like "soliloquised" and pretend I understand them

I fear this is another book of nothing happening to nobody characters

Welcome to my (now) annual tradition where I select a short story that seems to be about nothing to kickstart a reading habit that will eventually die out halfway through the year. Hopefully this year I get to its end with the same momentum.

Sigh...Letters to Milena has been dnf'ed once more. Until another time, I guess, when I can bear reading about a man too chickeny to meet a woman he loves.

After reading 4 pages of a single person's dialogue I refuse to think I yap too much

im not sure if i like this book at all
