ok i read 100 pages today which looks like not much progress but it’s like a quarter of the book!!!! turns out im silly and i should do this by percentage bc i have an edition that’s 400 pages long

Im dropping this. I wanted so badly to enjoy it but it feels like torture porn. I know that is reductionist to say, maybe, but I can’t read this. If you like it good for you! But I don’t and I can’t.

I’m going to be so honest. So far I don’t love this book at all. Don’t get me wrong, I love the concept so much! The worldbuilding is awesome. However, the characters are so… flat. I am not far in At All but to be honest I’m thinking of dropping this because the YA style isn’t for me. I would’ve liked it aged 13, maybe, but not now.
