Not the easiest of books to read because of content. But a very stirring account from a child’s prospective about the abuse faced at a Christian boarding school, how she got there, and the racism her Indigenous family and friends face.

3.75 stars. Artwork superb and story held me until the end. A story with a deeper meaning - which doesn’t entirely get resolved but starts to open up to compassion and understanding.
