This is not the first time characters have met up for a hike/walk. I love this and somehow it feels revelatory right now? Less meeting at establishments. More meeting up in nature, please.

I saw this scene between Jamie and Meredith like a movie and the tenderness broke me apart completely. And the interwoven-ness of these events written out parenthetically like this is brilliant.

“All of this sitting around and talking, it was such a waste of time, unless you considered time to be an accumulation of moments you’d rather die than go without .” immediately followed by “though if that’s how you see time, then holy shit, yeah, this was an affair.” had my jaw on the FLOOR

I had to force myself to put this down last night so I could wake up for the gym this morning. I could have read the whole thing in one sitting, I love everything about this so, so much. Literally counting down the hours until I can come home and finish it.
