Danny Coughlin’s Bad Dream - 3/5
A bit too long, it gets enticing by the end, but I felt it drag a bit.

Two Talented Bastids - 3,5/5 nice story but a bit predictable. It was the first thing I ever read from him and enjoyed it quite a lot.

The Fifth Step - 5/5 you start to read it and wonder where it’s going, up until the moment where you gasp because you were not expecting it. So twisted, so good!

O 1.o capítulo introduz o 1.º livro. No 2.o apresenta o Dobby e intende-se que os Malfoy continuavam a trabalhar com o Voldmort desde sempre. O Dobby refere que há meses que ouve os mestres a planear as coisas horríveis que se passariam em hogwarts.

The concept of the story is interesting, but (at least at this moment) I do not feel very connected with Nora.
What ifs are something that can haunt your present. Where would you be if a tiny tiny thing in your past was different? As stated before, it is a very interesting concept, but Nora’s possibilities do not 100% captivate me.

Everyone talked so well of the book, that I had great expectations for it.
They are not being met, but I believe that happens because my life is very different from Dolly's.
You have a different perspective, but I cannot connect simply because I would not do the same, make the same options.

I believe this is the reason it is taking me more time than expected to finish this book.

Chegada ao 7 capítulo começa a ação que me faz querer continuar a ler.

Esta deve ser a quinta vez que tento ler o Great Gatsby. A primeira foi quando o filme saiu, tentei ler o livro antes, mas sem grande sucesso.
Nesta quinta tentativa a leitura continua lenta, mas desta vez tenho o objetivo de chegar à página 120.

A história é interessante. Já tinha tido alguns spoilers no TikTok, por isso a grande descoberta feita até agora já era previsível.
No entanto, continuo curiosa para saber porque é a Monique foi a escolhida.
