Blissful is an insufferable MC. Entitled, rude, and stupid. She purposefully tries to piss off anyone she meets and has a chip on her shoulder. The instant love dynamic with Roan is beyond Halmark camp. Nobody would behave like that. Shame because the world is fun and the premise of helping ghosts move to the afterlife is interesting. The ghost gifts are another fun dynamic. The characters fall flat and very 1D.

"Becky Ray rose and stretched her arms over her head, revealing a muffin top that I’ll never be able to unsee in my entire life."

OH no! Please don't be fat phobic. Most people have a muffin top. It's nothing to be ashamed of, nor something to degrade others about.

Storyline is fun and more original than the last book, HOWEVER some of Pepper's comments is getting old. Specifically her continued comments about needing to lose 10lbs. It comes off as commentary from the author about her own weight insecurities.

WHY did they have to do spells in the nude? It felt like I was part of a personal fantasy of the author that I didn't really agree to.

Really hating the main character and not enjoying this read, but so many reviews say to stick it out. Lets hope a change comes soon.

Enjoyable adaptation. Wish there was color though.

approx 2 hours into the audiobook. Misleading book. Sells itself as advice on finance and investing, but it's one long out autobiography about how the girl decided to start investing.

In short, if you picked up this book you already made up your mind about learning about finances. Listening to someone speak for 2+ hours about they they are doing it? no. Get to what you promised.

Have to shelve this for a bit. While full of great information, I don't think I'm at this point yet.

DNF. Maybe it's the audiobook narrator. Just not the book for me.

OK... this book started off good. Interesting, creative, unique... a good solid retelling. But now it's hit a standstill. Hoping it picks up again soon.

Story 6: j'onn J'onzz aliens and other alien heroes

story 5 - Quick draw mcgraw. I had seen some of these characters before but was rather unfamiliar with them. It was an enjoyable read in the wild west. Not my favorite time period/setting but entertaining.

Story 4: The Impossibles and Frankenstein Jr. Ok story, I was unfamiliar with the original characters. Thought the story was a bit all over the place. More a 3 star story.

Story 2: Harley Quinn. Great story. My favorite yet.
