Whenever I thought I knew what was going on the story was at least one step ahead! Easily Ms McAllister’s best yet- and she’s an auto-buy for me!

So does JK think the people calling her out for being a TERF are spoonies or Nazis I’m confused

I picked it up from the library to see if it would be as bad as I heard but oh God the lack of self awareness. Being called out for being a TERF on Twitter by queer people is not the same thing as being murdered by deranged Internet trolls from the dark web.

Does this woman not have friends who could have talked her down from this?

This is a reprint of one of her books from 2013 and it doesn’t have the bite of her newer books, more of a whimsical chick lit story that made me nostalgic for slightly better whimsical chick lit stories. Not bad.
