These are surprisngly fun and intriguing! I actually love Gemini! These are my type of candy reads, good palette cleansers.

I think this is going to be a slow burn. I had no idea. I am so glad I picked it up.

While it is not quite yet obvious, I suspect I do know who is responsible for what happened to Beth, because it is clear from this side that someone wanted to hurt her.

So far, the lead up has been a bit dull. But! Just got to the first episode, and I am curious if who I think did it, did it. She is casually looked at, but I bet it was her.

It suddenly got good. And Now I am wanting to know how this goes.....

I do not dislike the story so far. But the changing of words into other words to mean the same thing, like minute and hour, is unnecessary. I am curious how this story is gonna go now that the storms are posing a threat to security. And Mamoru's dad is being very..."Manly". I really hope Misaki does more than gravel / try to pretend she is less than she is.

Tbh. I keep waiting for this to get good. It’s wordy. And has details I don’t care about. Yet I want to know the conclusion.

Of the 3 books in this series, this one is already my least favorite. Violet and Xaden are irritating. Xaden is actually the most annoying. He doesn't know how to leave good enough alone. But Violet, up to this point has not been that girl. But in this book, she is that girl. Sis, get a grip. STAND UP.

Lol. Ok. I’m in it now. Some of the plot points are a tad predictable but I’m still sooooo curious where it’s all going. I haven’t been this engrossed in a seemingly YA kind of fantasy / war type novel like this since red queen. Voting for Violence.

lets hope the second go around gets me. So far, I made it passed the part from my previous go around.

So far, I am unimpressed with anything happening in this book. Tommy's POV is truly unneeded and this drama he has going on seems like its going to converge with something unknowing, but I am not here for it. Gregg, truly, I want you to revisit the vibe from the first 3 books. So far, this is not giving.

This book is an interesting work. But it is wayyyyy too long with dialogue for a book about book summoners. And Ill say this, the author has a thing for the victorian/dickens worlds. I am going to finish it, but I do not foresee giving it many stars.

I have to say, this is a bit of a lukewarm novel so far. I keep waiting for the novel to turn a bit more interesting. Admittedly, Leigh's work is great, but so far I am not impressed with where and how this story is going.

Honestly, I find this book hard to put down. I am so curious what is going happen to our main character. But also, how infuriating; status and gender dictating so much, and explanations that escape scientific reason, e.g. the male doctor checking a pulse without actually touching the patient. I am angry just finishing this most recent chapter.

A sign of a good book. so far so good.

This book is very entertaining. And LOL at some of the dark comedy of it all.

Carrie is a bit of a baby about her losing streak. But also, Beau is 100% correct: she does need to come to terms with herself now vs then. Sis is messy. But I am here for the mess.

this particular story is a bit of a chore. What made Hanna interesting in the previous book is done. All her calculation is gone. And it seems to me, Hanna is more obsessing than plotting. I have not gotten too far, but I am not impressed with her character right now. if I am more honest, it seems her psychopathic ways have lost their conviction.

Already I am annoyed. The thing with sequels is, if you end it a certain way, the beginning should reflect that ending. This beginning has Hanna coming off as a normal 24 year old. When in reality she was a psychopath/sociopath with a penchant for french accents and unsettling her mother. How and why did Zoje decide to undo that?

I swear this girl is just not all put together because how is she soooooo cringe?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

LOL. Just started this and already I am reminded of what its like to work in an office setting where emails are just passive aggressive notes passed between colleagues. I needed this laugh this morning.

I have finally made a dent in this book. The second half is definitely more interesting. And holy hell.

some of these stories are a bit hard to follow. but the central story keeps evading me. like what is the connective tissue here?
