Finally starting it. So little time for "eye reading", but I will make an hour/day possible somehow.

Why is nobody asking after the boy? It drives me crazy!

Another unusual gem so far. These days I seem to be very lucky with my random picks from the audio list at storytel.

I love it when books are different - and this one is different as hell.
So far really great!

The beginning has some Annihilation vibes. The narrow first person POV with little explanation for the reader makes for an exciting narration. Loving it so far.

LOL! This is so crazy :). Wonderful that Adrian is reading himself. I love his voice.

This is off to a good start. I stay focused while listening, which is a good sign. I can't count how often I had to restart audiobooks because my mind was wandering.

If it weren't for our breakfast reads with the boys I wouldn't be reading at all atm. ^^'

I need this reading slog to end!

I'm at the "ogling the time" state again. Unfortunately this high praised series couldn't grip me.

Hm .... turned into a kind of dark academia/competition story again which always leaves me a bit on the uninterested side. But lets see how it is going.

Oof! Brutal! Good, but brutal!

Hmm ... in comparison to "A Day of Fallen Night" this one feels rather flat. The author definitely has improved a lot over the years.

Hm ... I don't know what it is, but so far none of the stories clicked with me. With some I didn't even realise when they ended and the next already had begun ... ^'

Still liking this a lot.

It feels so good to read real SF again.

I thought I don't care about books along the line of Game of Thrones - but this one really gripped me.

This is surprisingly good so far.

An easy cozy read, but I'm finding myself more and more not paying attention in the second part.
