Turns out Saruman has a magic voice, but interestingly, Gandalf outmaneuvers him by having him talk to more than one person at once and people are able to see through his manipulation. "He cannot be a counselor and tyrant at once"

Some very pertinent lessons on people and some genuinely funny moments so far
"Is that Dan Jones himself, or Dan Jones' ghost?"

Thomas Tidwell is on page 735 of 747 of Jesus the Christ: A Study of the Messiah and His Mission According to Holy Scriptures, Both Ancient and Modern
In the final stretch now. There are fewer section and chapter breaks, so it's just a matter of powering through for a few pages at least.

Didn't realize that Christ appeared so many times after his resurrection, including once to Peter personally. That one is only mentioned offhandedly and I believe that Peter kept that one private, as something just for him.

More illuminating and bittersweetly balming commentary of spiritual matters can be found than Elder James E. Talmage's account of the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. His holy sacrifice in our stead was accepted by the Father, and "He exclaimed in a loud voice of holy triumph: "It is finished." In reverence, resignation, and relief, He addressed the Father: "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit." " -P. 661

Elder Talmage's coverage of the Last Supper is one of the best I have read, especially when Christ prays for his disciples. Having it all in one paragraph without verse separation just seems right.

A lot more "anyway, here's what's happening in US/Russian/British capital". I do like Ted Woods having a redemption arc, instead of being stuck as a man with uncontrollable rages.

Thomas Tidwell is 85% done with Grimms' Fairy Tales
Interesting the themes of "man must help others cross water and then the bad person gets stuck doing it", "big bad's wife/mother helps the hero get answers to riddles" and "man gets stuck in a sack in a tree and then convinces someone it made him smarter so they take his place". Oh, these are not themes? But they are common plot devices, reading these I would have at least 6 nickels for repeating story beats.
