Enjoying it overall but it doesn’t need to be this long

Maybe it’s me, but regrettably I have not enjoyed a single moment

I always enjoy a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown (or in the midst of one) but I'd definitely recommend avoiding the audiobook. The narrator sounds like Gail from Bob's Burgers describing horrific crimes.

Nothing on earth could have prepared me for this audiobook to start with singing

I knew I shouldn’t have gotten this book, because I need to not read anything from Ali Hazelwood for a while, BUT there were few audiobooks available and I need a filler between two reads. That said, we’re on the exact same journey as every other Ali Hazelwood book (socially stunted but smart science girl in an enemies to lovers romance with a science boy secretly in love her) and I already know the ending.

Rereading for the second time this year because I’m between books and this is such a short, fun read. Still probably my top of the year

Needed a light read between books, which this definitely is, but my attention is drifting at the halfway point.

I didn’t expect this to become a lesbian vampire book but I’m here for it
