DNF at 31%. Awful writing, just awful. The writing in this book is so elementary it made me cringe. The spice is nonstop but so immature, “I squealed like a squeaky toy”? No just no. No character development, and so unrealistic. I get romance isn’t based in reality but this is next level. What a disappointment, this author is a o e and done for me.

I just cannot go on with this book. It’s soooo depressing! It’s not even angsty, it’s just a big fat downer. There literally has not been one happy f-ing moment and I’m a third of the way through this book. I can deal with a roller coaster of emotions when reading a book, but this is like a bullet train to the depths of hell. I just can’t.
