Not one character in this book is likeable. It started out as a binge read for me and now I'm just ready for it to be over!!! Little house on the NIGHTMARE!!

That's it. Team no one ends up together. A third act breakup?! Come on.

Still trying to figure out why I shouldn't be rooting for Shiv. Honestly, I sort of am?? This reverse fake dating to make the family hate her as a girlfriend makes it incredibly difficult to like her as a character even though I know she's acting!

I can get behind the outlandish premise, but I can't excuse the pop culture references. It just takes me out of the story. Thankfully, not in abundance.

You're telling me I'm supposed to fall for this man, who's looking for a wife purely because he can't figure out how to run a household? He literally quizzes her on what to do about a leaky roof. Oh boy. Run away!!!! I might need to come back to this book.

I'm weeping!! I don't want to stop here, but carpool duty calls. My dramatic, hopeless romantic side, has loved this book.

Why. Why do we have to refer to the MMC as looking like an incredibly popular book boyfriend from an incredibly popular fantasy series? (Yes, you know the one). Once was fine. Three times in the first chapter was too much. I need to take a breather and then I'll come back because I love Abby Jiminez!!
