Such a lovely book, and so wholesome! I just love Amish and Mennonite stories!

Finished Christmas Shoes, isn’t what i expected cause i saw the movie and before that listened to the song a bunch. However, in saying that I really enjoyed it!

The book is really good and shows how women are created to influence and empower others. We are not better than men, and shouldn’t trade in our femininity to “get ahead” because our goal isn’t to “get ahead” it is to shine the light of Jesus to those in the marketplace and job force.

I love this book, even though it isn’t like the Hallmark television show. The characters are very well written and I enjoy reading a good story without cursing, nudity, and has a dark tone to it. I have always been a fan of Janette Oke, and this book is fantastic!

Very slow so far...

So far I'm loving this book. There is so much wisdom Candace imparts and she is so open and honest. Love this book so far.

So far so good. A lot of little nuggets of wisdom while getting to Know Candace behind the scenes.

So far this is a very intriguing book and the characters are just as enlightening.

I am enjoying this series. Taking a break for the holidays to read some themed books, but cant wait to read the next story.

It is a hard read on some of them and dont care for how she portrays a few characters. I hope after the holidays, when I get back to it, it gets better.
