I'm on a mission to clean up, and actually read, the books that are on my Want to Read shelf.

I decided to clean up my TBR list and the number of books I already own but haven't read is shameful.

Still listening to Magic Bleeds. Kate is obstinate for no reason.

Listening to the audiobook of Magic Bleeds, and this narration is terrible. Her stereotype of the Asian voice/accent is trash. I'm questioning why that choice was made given that there was no indication from the description that Juke (sp) had an accent.

Currently listening to November 9 by CoHo. This mf spent $400 on a plane ticket to give Fallon a "homework assignment." I've never met a person that would make me basically throw $400 away lol

I'm 49% in Love on the Lake, and Aaron has a six pack of abs and is buff, but doesn't eat vegetables, work out, and only drinks rootbeer and eats junk food. smh

I don't know how Sadie has let Fletcher get away with stopping by unannounced and entering her house when she's not there. She should have gotten her key back! And Fletcher is way out of line for this.

This book is not funny at all.

This book keeps getting worse and worse. This mf said she wanted to be treated like a spoiled little princess. Excuse me!?!?! Not wanting to be stood up on a date and constant cancelled plans is friggin common courtesy.

I get that Fletcher was upset about learning he had been nominated, but this man really is in denial about how bad a boyfriend he had been. Just be cause he had already been looking for rings.
Both characters are irritating af

Sadie's mother is implying that she has unreasonable expectations out of Fletcher. I don't think being stood up multiple times and having conversations being interrupted by a work cell phone (for him to immediately leave) should be excused. Sure he changes her lightbulbs and takes out her trash, but that doesn't make up for it.

This book was supposed to be a comedy, but I haven't laughed at all.

Even though I don't like Sadie, I was on her side. Fletcher was a terrible boyfriend. BUT....SHE CUT HIS SHIRTS. Like, NO. You don't destroy his property!!!

Honestly, with all that has gone on in the book, and all that Fletcher has done (or not done) to Sadie, she comes off as a doormat that is willing to be treated like trash. Like, being stood up multlipe times, not answering his phone (esp when you need help) and the way he talks about you to other people is all grounds for breakup imo. Too many second chances.

Sadie is dumb af. This chick things because a man is wearing a suit that he is safe and isn't going to murder her. "He would have already murdered me" It didn't even cross her mind that murder isn't the only thing that can happen. Especially IF YOU GET INTO THE CAR WITH A STRANGER. And why did she even pop her hood if she has no idea about fixing cars?? Incessant internal monologue on the irrelevant.

I'm really struggling with this book. I set it down after the ridiculousness of the issue with a villain and how they are trying to figure out what to do in the aftermath.

I'm cringing so hard right now. The fact that she's just rambling and rambling about her "lost penny" lie/excuse is so awkward. JUST WALK AWAY! excuse yourself and leave them to it! Ugh.

It has taken me forever to listen this far because the secondhand embarrassment is so strong. Like i'm cringing so hard. I hate big gestures; but the way this one panned out is making me anxious just leading up to it.

This bih really told Wes, after insulting him by comparing him to a really fun sports bar, that if he continued to hang out with Alex (I mistyped Ashley earlier) who was like a really nice restaurant that he would level up to a really trendy sushi place. Like my jaw dropped. I literally have no words. "Level up" like.... Liz is trash lol

Wow Lainey is a huge a-hole. I was sympathetic to her lies to Joss because Joss was, indeed, judgmental about her desire to get close to Michael. And I was hurt for her when Wes cozied up to Ashley. But when she told Wes that Michael was the man of her dreams and was a sports bar/Jeep Wrangler to Michael's gourmet restaurant/limo. Oof.

My secondhand embarrassment of fictional characters is so strong in this book. Liz is awkward af lol

The narrator is really good. But I am cringing so hard over Liz's antics in trying to catch Michael's attention. Her lying about dating a guy (which they thought was odd when she was a kid *facepalm*. And i'm wondering if her dislike of Lainey is valid. And her avoidance of Joss doesn't make a lot of sense. Wes is awesome.

Minnie's mom is the worst. Absolute worst.

And I'm liking Quinn even less and less. Going out and enjoying time with Minnie, but he's dating somebody. Ugh.

Though Minnie and Quinn aren't anything to each other, it's got me feeling some type of way that fresh off his breakup to his gf, he arranged a tinder date and was having her meet him at the office. And the way he greeted Minnie when she arrived unexpectedly is how he was going to meet the Tinder date. Just kinda rubbing me the wrong way.

This chick really burned some pies FOR HER BUSINESS because she was putting on makeup *facepalm*

I was really enjoying this book until I got to the descriptions of the employees. It's no wonder she can't pay rent when she is basically sabotaging her business by hiring incompetent people that can't bake pies or even take messages properly.

This book is dumb. First of all it's dragging and dragging with no advancement of the plot, and just drips of information. Second. for this family, who is already burdened by debt, to offer to pay for the misdeeds and debt of some distant family member is so stupid. I guess it's the "honorable" thing to do.

The narrator is horrible. I'm going to have to read the book instead of listen.

Soo much introspection interspersed between dialogue; and it's interrupting the flow. It's hard to keep track. I just started, so I hope it gets better from here.

Emma really let Sam go without a fight, is up in the woods on a getaway fucking her first husband without a care in the world. And is now throwing a pity party and is shocked that Sam is prepared to call of the wedding.
