Hi, everyone. I hope all of you have a great 2021.

I decided I want to go back to my "reading roots" and now I have journal where I document my reading progress or the lack of it every day. I will still check out what you're all reading but I won't be updating here that much anymore. I will review the books I read but it'll be a monthly wrap up.

It's been a quick read so far and there are things I'm liking but my heart is not all there for the story. I don't know if it's because the characters or if it's the pacing.

Wait, is Monique the daughter of any of Evelyn's past husbands or lovers and that's why she requested her especially?

Oh, I knew something was off about the whole thing but I didn't see it coming.

So, I'm curios about Cristina, Mark and Kieran's relationship. Like, how is it going to be portrayed without getting kinky? This is not like with Tessa, Will and Jem so I am scared this turns out a bit porn-ish.

Also, I am NOT a big fan of all that shit with the other dimension. It's like CoHF 2 and just no.

I'm trying to listen to this but the narrator is just not doing it for me. I don't know why but I just can't get into the story at all.

I'm exhausted. Completely drained. I need a break and I won't probably continue until tomorrow. I have cried way too much.

And it's not for someone I expected.

I was listening to the audiobook but since my vacations are over, my life is pretty chaotic and full of noise once again and I can't really concentrate on listening to this. I'd rather try to read it instead because I was enjoying it a lot.

The narrator's voice reminds me of Anna Kendrick's A LOT. So far so good but, let me tell you how this book is failing monumentally in making me feel any kind of hate from the mcs. Like, boy, they're so into each other, it's nuts. And that is from the very first word.

I just had a BLAST re-reading the first 3 books in the Off-Campus series. Listening to these audiobooks were way too much fun. Now I want to listen all my favorite books over and over.

Yep, re reading in the form of audiobook. Same narrator, though. Let's see how it goes.

Although I really don't like the narration, there's is no doubt I am enjoying this book. It's always fun to go and visit this series. All the feels and the laughs this book in particular never fails to give me it's amazing.

I love this book and its characters but I'm having a bit of a hard time with the narrator. She is just sort of flat. Like, I adore the story but I'm not engaged. Only time will tell if my rereading is successful.

It's be damn great so far! I don't want it to end.

I have had a BLAST reading this book.

It's like having my heart ripped out of my chest. What a delight.

I'm the worst book reader EVER! I haven't read a single page in weeks. Yeah, work's hard but COME ON, LAURA, YOU HAVE DONE IT BEFORE. I don't even know anymore.

I will post some reviews I've had for a few weeks now but I feel so terrible.

Guys, I haven't had internet access at home for the past week and I still don't have any. I have the review for The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle plus another one to post but I can't at the moment. Hopefully, I can do it soon.

Having read the first book fairly recently, I have a fresh recall of how they characters are... so I'm having a few issues with the way Carson is being portrayed here. It's like an extreme version of himself and it almost looks like a poor written fanfic. I'm reading faster than I thought but that's because is all banter.

I'm not enjoying this book as much as I thought I was going to. I don't know if it's finally here -the moment where I outgrow these types of stories. I don't know. I think, unless it has a paranormal or fantasy aspect to it, I'm into YA anymore *sighs*. And the only contemporary I like is NA or adult. I feel weird.

I don’t want to finish reading this book. I’ve waited 4 years to read more about Juliette and her world -especially after the way Ignite Me ended and I’m not ready for this to be over. I don’t want to wait anymore!

Okay, I'm enjoying this so much. It's been ages since I've felt this good while reading a book!! Let's see how long this lasts. I know I'll be on the floor crying very soon.

GUYS, do you know if there's an app you can use to keep track of your reading challenge? Like a widget countdown or something? I'm trying to see if I can customize one of those but it'd be so cool to have an app you can link to the GR challenge.

I'm so in the mood for some fun contemporary and Kelly never lets down at delivering me fun, cute and sexy time.

One of the things people seem to like the most about this book is the writing style but I hate it. I don't like the way the story is told -old tale sort of type because it doesn't let me know the characters. So far I couldn't care less about any of the Nomeolvides girls (I dislike the last name, btw) and the whole book feels so childish. I don't know, I guess I'll have too see how it ends.

2017 has been such a hard year for me book wise, it's unbelievable. I know that the combination of my new role at work and just getting rid of some bad habits I had... While I'm in a good place right now, mentally and emotionally, my reading suffered A LOT.

For 2018 I have set some personal reading goals and I also decided to revisit books I love. I hope to meet all my expectations.

This book is read heavily. I think it's because of the amount of history it contains. Years have come and gone and it's taken its toll on me. Characters I onced adored -they feel strange now. I've cried a bit too, but that's all TID. It's bizarre.

I'm enjoying this book as much as I'm able to so I just have to keep reading.

This was the pick for this week. I honestly don't know what to expect.
