Solid collection of stories, but not the warm escapism I was anticipating

Not without some interesting insights but this book is unfocused and would have been more effective as a collection of essays. Regardless of that fact, it is poorly argued and reductive. Don’t let the title catfish you the way it did me.

4.5 - finally a work of fiction that got me thinking! So much has been so bland and superficial lately but this will make you consider existential questions.
