Being the nit-picky nerd that I am, I just found a proof-reading mistake. On page 59 -

"Tatiana, the former Moroi queen, had been Christian's great-aunt. She'd been viciously murdered this summer, and though Adrian rarely spoke about her, I'd heard from a number of people that they'd been close."

Tatiana Ivashkov, an important character in the Vampire Academy series, was ADRIAN'S great-aunt, not Christian Ozera's.

Although I enjoy the series, in both the book and movie form, I've recently read quite a bit about how Ms. Meyer's fictionalization and romanticized depiction of the Quilieute tribe has been harmful for a long struggling small tribe. I'm encouraging those who follow me to read the article I'm linking and consider donating to the Quileute people.

I found the first chapter or so a bit slow and hard to get into but I think that was more getting use to the change of tone and narrator in comparison to the original trilogy. Thus far? I can't put it down but it's a Suzanne Collins book so that's hardly a surprise.
