I love this story!

So far there are many stories about various Parasites, and the information is very interesting but not exactly something you sit and read through in long sittings. This book could easily take me a long time: open it up, read about a parasite, close the book wait a couple weeks repeat.

and now I fall in love with A. Hamilton

At this pace, I'm sure by next year I'll have fallen for the entire array of 1770s men.

Daughter and I are enjoying it very much. She particularly enjoys the descriptions of what is part of Wilbur's meals...

Oh and she now knows what the words "manure" and "sobbing" mean - wonderful

This isn't going well. My 7 year old isn't getting into this one and neither am I unfortunately. Also, the chapters are really long for kids. Wow.

So far it has been very repetitive, restating the claim made by the author in different ways to pass by 25 pages. Oh boy..

I'm not sure why I'm reading this book so slowly. It isn't a slow read, in fact it keeps pace. I think I just don't find it fascinating enough. I'm not learning anything. Actually my main motivation to finish is to start another book that I'll hopefully enjoy more. Its written well tho, cheers.

Taking my time with this one, when I need some Middle-Earth in my life.

I have 'ominous background music' playing while I read this one. I couldn't help myself. That being said, I am enjoying this little book. I feel as though Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights is the invisible man, just sayin...

I have been audio-booking this, something I don't do very often. I wish I had not done so - I might reread. I like it so far. It sure is set in a freaky world.
