We recently read Beauty and the Beast in here and I was disappointed that Andrew Lang's ending was left out. The story ends with a light springing up but the beast transforming and the wedding are left off. Now I'm adding the Blue Fairy Book to my list of books to find a deal on.

My kids and I have a hard time putting this one down! And I've been surprised at how often this allegory has come to mind. Clearly I need to read the original next! But the illustrations in this book are wonderful!
