Ok, I'm liking the story & the the reveal we just had. Explain to be why in this fantasy world with made up words, this character says the F-word? It just takes me out of the story. What's the purpose?

Son of a biscuit, there are lots of evil themes in this book. Yet still quite entertaining. But dang, even the povs I liked more because they didn't curse are doing so now.
