I don’t normally do this, but I am stopping this book. It is just not grabbing me, feel like work trying to trudge through it.

Just started yesterday. So far matches Season 1, Episode 1

So, today we are driving from home to Santee, SC. So, we decided to download and plan to start this Audio-Book for today's ride.

Jeanette was supposed to read this book for her Book Club. I even purchased the hardcover for her. Then, last week as were were prepping for our drive to NC, she asked me to download the audio-book. So, I purchased again, and we listened all day on Sunday. I think this story is full of plot holes. So, don't think too much. We are almost done, there was a sudden twist that may salvage the story, we will see.

OK, things are starting to creep into the story. Strange things, eerie things.

Audio book, very sad, forces me to think back and remember the early days of the Vietnam conflict.

No real scares yet. Still setting up the premise and adding some questionable characters

Deep into a Holly short story. She is a good character, and continues the story of The Outsider.

We have been trying to squeeze a little listening while still in NC. Yesterday I said to Jeanette that the current time jump (maybe 10-12 years) currently reads like a different story. Still very interesting, and still expecting a big tie-in between the drama of the first part.

Not the greatest book ever. But, with Disney lore, I always find a gold nugget of information here and there. So, it's not a total waste of time.

Wow, this is a LONG audio-book. But, very interesting. Lots of time jumps. We are hoping a lot gets wrapped up and explained in the last 1+ hour left.

Early on, hoping it gets better.

Much better, solid story.

Just Started.

I was very unhappy to read about Alex's downfall caused by extreme grief. I always felt/thought that Alex had a much better grip and would never "crash & burn" this badly.
