So far I love the Forest Gentry and the ghost mythologies... I was surprised that it had so much to do with the afterlife and earthbound spirits. This isn't just about werewolves.. it's a haunting ghost story that touches on the tension between eternal earthbound life and the afterlife; after all, aren't Anne Rice's vampires and longer-lived werewolves also earthbound spirits, encased in flesh?
